Wine Information:
35% of the grapes that go into Garaudet's Monthelie come from a 1er Cru site, adding noble complexity to the final wine. The soils are rich in iron and very red, providing a mineral spice. There are also many highly reflective stones scattered between the vines, warming the air and making thicker-skinned grapes, resulting in a more colored and tannig wine.
