Wine Information:
Garnet red color. Intense, elegant nose; kirsch, currant jam, and vanilla. Full-bodied, concentrated, complex, tannic quite intense and persistent flavor. Perfect with Piedmontese cheeses and grilled red meat.
This wine is a blend of fruit from 5 vineyard sites: 3 in Castiglione Falletto, Codara, Vignolo and Meriondino, and 2 in Barolo, Via Nuova nd Vignane. Fermented in stainless steel, the wine is then aged in French-oak barriques for 12 months followed by another 12 months in large oak casks. About 1,500 cases produced.
