Wine Information:
Disgorged 12/09; 60% ’07 and 20% each ’06-’05. It’s 81% PN (from Mareuil, Avenay and
Bisseuil) and 19% CH (from Mareuil). It seems silkier than last year’s; the ’07 makes it
more taut, but the signature fragrance is there, and again there’s a stealthy richness on
the mid-palate; with five minutes in the glass it really exhales. Let’s call it a spicy version
of this sumptuous yet articulate wine.
