The 2004 Riserva is sourced entirely from 15 year old vineyards in the Bossona Cru. The vineyards are planted on tufa soils with a South, South-west exposure.
The Riserva Bossona was fermented in steel, and underwent a long (28 day) fermentation period. The wine was then racked off into large 33 hectoliter Slovenian oak botte for 2 years. Finally, the wine spent 12 months in bottle before its release.
