Wine Information:
A summit for Heidi’s wines. 60% Welschriesling, 40% Pinot Blanc and Gelber
Muskateller, it has a freaky Pfalz-like fragrance of lemon blossom honey and candied
ginger, really an Auslese scent, though this wine is dry. Yet it’s talc-y and malty, sweetleesy,
spicy, ringent, vital and vigorous – and delicious, with a candied-spicy finish that
suddenly introduces all this exotica and tonka bean. A beguiling, original wine. Be a
crime to miss it. Really, I’ll send the police to your apartment if you don’t order it.
