Wine Information:
Deep inky purple, the wine has gobs of blackberry and cherry compote, nicely balanced by lingering berry flavors, vanilla, sweet spices, and toasty notes with an earthy finish and stony minerality.
100% Sangiovese grosso, also known as "da Brunello", the wine aged in 60% new barriques for 12-14 months and then in the bottle for 6 months. About 800 cases produced annually.
