  Wine Information:
Killibinbin means “to shine” in the Aboriginal language and this new blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from Langhorne Creek certainly lives up to its billing. The ‘03 Blend is the latest offering from Wayne Anderson and winemaker Greg Follett of Killibinbin wines.
The makeup of the blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Shiraz with all of the fruit being sourced from the Langhorne Creek area, south of McLaren Vale. The fruit is obtained from the same blocks that produce the renowned Killibinbin Shiraz. Langhorne Creek won renown for growing grapes that are robust and rich but they received scant respect because most of the grapes were blended with juice from other regions and the name of Langhorne Creek rarely appeared on the label.  Not anymore!
