Deep ruby. Powerful aromas of blackberry, cherry compote, licorice and violet, lifted by a floral quality. Dense and broad, with dark berry flavors complicated by candied licorice and bitter chocolate. Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and very good, chewy persistence.
