Dense, juicy and intensely flavored, with red and black berries, licorice and an intriguing saline element. Finishes with firm tannins and lingering, fresh fruit. A very successful blend, and an excellent value. I find this more vibrant than many of Rolf Binder's other wines, which are generally from far riper fruit.
