| REVIEW |
The 2010 Viognier “Cuvee Larsinos” is aged in a mixture of new and old oak. After opening with a bit of caramel, this comes along beautifully, the acidity asserting itself, the oak integrating to a considerable degree and the fruit showing quite well. Its mid-palate is graceful and elegant. Nicely constructed, this is a bottling that shows some promise from Skouras. It will likely be best on the young and fresh side. Drink now-2014.
This is a very nice lineup from Skouras this issue. The best news is that there are a lot of nice values. With the exception of the 9906 solera, these all provide some value and some seem like terrific deals if you like their styles. Bargain hunters take note.
