(from Charmes Dessous, planted in 1930). The step up in elegance is to be expected but not necessarily the additional complexity yet that is the case in 2010 as the beautifully layered nose of hazelnut, lemon peel, white
peach, pear and anise hints are quite beguiling. The extract-rich flavors possess a silky texture before concluding in a cool, linear and strikingly persistent finish. This is really very stylish and worth considering. 92/2017+
