Tablas Creek is the collaboration of reknowned wine importer Robert Haas, founder of Vineyard Brands, and the Perrin Family of Chateau de Beaucastel fame. Located in Paso Robles, all wines are estate bottled from estate grown grapes. The winery uses only organic farming techniques. Minimum human intervention is the practice here as Mr. Haas and the Perrin family, along with winemaker Neil Collins, believe it is the best way to preserve the wine's link to the soil in which its vines were grown. Tablas Creek also boasts a large nursery that supplies many of California's top Rhone varietal growers with high quality root stocks imported from only the best vineyard sites in France. |
