Corrina at Oliver's Taranga

Corinna Rayment is one of the young stars of the McLaren Vale wine scene.  Coming from one of the royal families in the region, she is the daughter of Don Oliver, and having great experience in California along with the McLaren Vale the Revolution and Expatriate wines were the natural next step.  The fruit she uses is sourced from the Oliver’s Taranga estate; Revolution from the young vine Cemetery vineyard and the Expatriate is a majority 65+ year-old vines from a vineyard previously sold to Penfold’s for Grange.  Corinna utilizes natural yeasts in the fermentation of all of these wines.  The Revolution sees a small amount of time in new American oak and the Expatriate sees about 50% new French oak. The newest addition is a Viognier from ‘small blocks’ within the estate that follows suit with natural yeast used in fermentation and seasoned barrel aging on the lees.
