At this well-known domaine, brothers Cyprien and Romain Arlaud have assumed day-to-day responsibilities from their father Hervé over the past few vintages, and have ratcheted up the already high level of quality here to even greater heights. Employing biodynamic viticulture and horse-plowing, the Arlaud brothers have honed a lighter, more expressive winemaking touch than has ever been seen here before, and the resulting wines are amply rich, yet beautifully expressive of their underlying terroirs. Their 2006 lineup is arguably the best ever from this property. |
