Dear Friends,

It's hard to believe, but it's true! We are about to celebrate 15 years at this business of bringing you the finest estate-bottled wines from around the world! We have worked HARD to make MSW the success that it has become. I started this whole "shabang" myself with nothing more than $10,000 to my name, a couple pairs of leather shoes with really good rubber soles, the belief in myself and in the wines I was fortunate to select & able to secure for my portfolio! Add to that a pinch of salt & a little pepper, some fresh cilantro and lots of long hours, long days & long weeks!

Now, 15 years later there are 47 of us on staff at MSW putting in lots of long hours, long days & long weeks! These are a dedicated bunch, let me tell you. We are not just another wine company. We work hard and play hard too! We celebrate every one of our "family's" 47 birthdays in our office with flutes of grower Champagnes. We try & taste wines at the end of nearly every work day . We have five Culinary Institute grads in our office. In the last few months alone, a group of 17 of us visited Champagne & dined in Paris for a week; 15 of us visited Vinitaly in Verona; 31 of us spent a week in July traveling the entire coast of California; 1 of us spent 3 weeks in Greece; 2 of us visited or are visiting Australia; we sent a group of 12 to Germany and 5 of us visited Austria, etc., etc.

We believe to do your best work you need to have fun! We believe in what we are doing. We cherish our good fortune of being the stewards of this great portfolio of exceptional wines made by some of the wine world's star performers; people who also work hard, play hard and believe; genuine souls who take enormous pride in their artisanal products, QUALITY first & foremost above all commercial interests.

I'd like to believe that you share in our pursuit of excellence. And that you are are choosing to throw your support, your purchasing dollars, your wines-by-the-glass and your case stacks behind those of us who are out their on the front lines, fighting for you, and fighting for what we believe in vinously to bring you truth, justice and the Epicurean Way!
